Logbook for Trivia XLV
This is where I’ll be keeping notes on anything worth noting over the weekend… right now it is 8:36pm on Friday, January 29, 2010 — less than two hours until the latest trivia contest. I am the ONLY one here (besides my mother, who is doing crossword puzzles)… Emily and Shane should be on their way, and a few assistants may be by around 10 or 10:30…
I will not explain the rules as I have in past years… you can read the other logs if you want to.

We’ve been failing… and Vampire/Twilight hour didn’t help. As kuku says, Twilight fans are “clearly terrorists”. Too Much Trivia maybe doing bad, but we’re behind them… by a fair margin.

“I’ll dress up like an office professional or something like that, in some clothes I don’t care about, and pretend to be doing some work in an office or something. Maybe then I’ll listen to a prop radio and look shocked, act scared, peer out a mimed window or something, and then you batter on the door. And batter, and batter, and push — and break in! And I let out a blood-curdling shriek, and you lunge at me and rip my clothes apart and splatter fake blood all over me (we’ll use a tarp on the floor, to be polite), and proceed to savagely violate me. Or something like that — I’m not really tied to that exact SCENE, but I think something that goes that way would be fun.”

Was going to crash, but they had to put Death and Destruction Hour back to back with Batman Hour. Oh man!

Okay, so I’m just as bad at updating as TMTITP is… but now I know JQ Adams will answer interview questions in the nude.
Ended up sleeping around 6:30 this morning… got back up around 11:30.
