511 Sherry Street

1900: Scotland-born Loyal H. McLeod (1859-1941)), foreman at Neenah Paper Company, lived there with son Loyal (1886-1964), German wife Mary Meltzer McLeod, and mother-in-law Elizabeth Meltzer (allegedly born 1810). By 1905, the family moved on to Shiocton.

1905: Christian J. Anderson, an iron moulder. Anderson was born in Denmark in 1865 or 1866 and immigrated in 1868. In 1900, he lived nearby at 430 Caroline Street.

1910: Christian J. Anderson, a moulder at Bergstrom Foundry, and his Norwegian wife Elizabeth. Also living there was son Robert Alfred Anderson (December 11, 1889 – November 10, 1947), who was also a moulder for Bergstrom. By 1917, Robert had served in the National Guard, moved to nearby 316 Van Street, and continued work as a moulder for Aylward Foundry.

September 2013: House purchased by Amanda Hanson and Gavin Schmitt. In October, underground drainage was cleaned. The following September, it was cleaned again. Between October and December 2014, all the basement plumbing was converted from clay and cast iron to PVC, and the drains were cleared to the street while a camera was used to detect blockages.
