Polls on Religion Versus Darwin

Here are a collection of polls on Americans’ views on religion and evolution. I make no attempt to draw conclusions from this data… polls are notoriously flexible. Depending on the ways questions are worded and who is asked, the results will vary. So, again, take this as you will.

  • 39% believe in the Biblical prediction of Armageddon “and accept it with a certain fatalism”
  • 38% accepted divine guidance of evolution
  • 9% accept Darwinian evolution
